PackSlip is a Shopify application developed and operated by ARS Developer. Our registered contact is info@arsdeveloper.co.uk. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to ARS Developer.

2. What Data We Collect

When you install PackSlip, we collect and store the following information from your Shopify store:

• Shop domain — to identify your store and authenticate requests
• Access token — a Shopify-issued token allowing us to read your order data on your behalf
• Shop name and email — used for support communications
• Order data — accessed in real-time to generate exports; not permanently stored on our servers
• Plan status — to manage your access to features

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the core PackSlip service (packing slip generation and exports)
• To manage your account and feature access
• To send you important service updates and support responses
• To improve and develop new features within the app

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

PackSlip integrates with the following third-party services:

• Shopify — your store data is accessed via the official Shopify API under OAuth. Shopify's privacy policy applies to data stored on their platform.
• Payments — PackSlip is currently free to install and use, so no payment information is collected or processed. If paid features are introduced in future, billing will be handled securely through the Shopify Billing API and we will never store your card details.
• Namecheap VPS — our servers are hosted on Namecheap infrastructure in a secure data centre.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. We implement industry-standard measures including:

• HTTPS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted storage of access tokens
• Restricted access — only authorised personnel can access production data
• Regular security audits

Order data is accessed live from Shopify when you generate an export and is not stored permanently on our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data (shop domain, access token, subscription status) for as long as your PackSlip account is active. If you uninstall the app, we will delete your data within 30 days upon request.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
